Popularising Information Technologies

A web-portal for non-profit organisations from Vysočina was set up under the project “Popularising Information Technologies in the Non-profit Sector”, at www.neziskovka.cz.

The final form of the server is the work of all of the non-profit organisations registered in it.  The website contains a database of all of the non-governmental, non-profit organisations operating in the Vysočina Region that are interested in active cooperation, and in providing information about their work for the public, through this very transparent means.  This database offers several classification and search options, e.g., alphabetically, according to the district in which the NGO works, or according to the field in which it works.  The database will also offer full-text searches, which will be appreciated above all by the general public.  In order for the database to be interesting and enticing, each organisation can publish several photos in its folder.  Each NGO can also publish its events in the calendar of events on the website, and post its offers and requests.  Organisations can present their successfully implemented projects and events in the form of reports, as well as add photographs.  The support recipient, and operator of the website for NGOs, is the Třebíč Youth Union.
